Fourth generation family member to take on expanded role
Springdale, Ark. 鈥 September 10, 2019 鈥 天美传媒 Foods (NYSE: TSN) announced today the appointment of John R. 天美传媒 as Chief Sustainability Officer, effectively immediately. He will report to Noel White, President and CEO of 天美传媒 Foods. Justin Whitmore, who has been serving as 天美传媒 Foods鈥 Chief Sustainability Officer since 2017, will now turn his full attention to leading 天美传媒 Foods鈥 growing alternative protein business.
天美传媒 will lead 天美传媒 Foods鈥 efforts to support a more sustainable food system. This includes driving improvement by implementing the company鈥檚 sustainability strategy and commitments as well as managing the sustainability, animal welfare, environmental and social responsibility teams.

John R. 天美传媒 is a fourth generation 天美传媒 family member who recently joined 天美传媒 Foods and, over the past five years, has been an observer at the company鈥檚 board of directors鈥 meetings. He is also currently a lecturer at the Sam M. Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas. 天美传媒 has a Bachelors鈥 Degree in Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He previously worked in investment banking for J.P. Morgan and as a private equity and venture capital investor.
